Tonya Haynes possesses 25 years Aerospace, Manufacturing, Financial, Cable/Satellite, Logistics, and Entertainment industry experience working for industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies such as; Mattel Toys, Hughes Aircraft Company, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), DIRECTV, NBC/Universal, McDonnell Douglas/Boeing, IBM Global Services, Aerospace Corporation, Grainger Industrial Supply, and Automatic Data Processing (ADP).

Tonya Haynes experience includes five years at middle management and ten years executive level. Leading teams of as few as 4 to as many as 200, Tonya Haynes launched initiatives that engaged customers, increased client satisfaction levels, directed organizational effectiveness and business process improvement projects while cultivating employees who have consistently promoted into leadership roles.

The skills and experience Tonya Haynes acquired in corporate coupled with her innate business acumen and ability to develop and shape data prepared her for the 2002 launch of her company, Phoenix Business Development Group.

Under Tonya Haynes leadership, Phoenix Business Development Group’s brand of “excellence” is thriving and becoming more recognizable, having increased its client portfolio year after year since its inception, most notably receiving the “Excellence in Technology Training” award from California Resources and Training (CARAT) for the positive contributions her team made to California’s Broadband Technology Initiative.

Tonya Haynes actively shares information and participates in vigorous conversations and debates within the Twitter and Linked-in communities. She has been mentioned in peer threads, cited by peers and quoted in articles and e-zines such as the Harvard Business Review often showing up as a Top Influencer on Linked-in.

A Social Entrepreneur at heart, Tonya Haynes works with non-profit organizations and sits on Advisory Boards and Councils such as; El Camino’s EOPS/CALWORKs/CARE programs lending her voice to ensure all students obtain access to a quality education.   Working closely with the Los Angeles Urban League, Vermont/Slauson EDC and Weingart Center Association Tonya Haynes educates and trains people in un-served and underserved communities how to manage their careers like a business and informing prospective business owners how to do business with and like a BIG business.

Tonya Haynes received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills. She and her company are headquartered in Redondo Beach, California where she resides with her six sons and their dog.
